Our Team

Doug Stephens – Owner / Lead Repair Tech
As a graduate of the internship program at Badger State Repair, I am excited to offer affordable, quality instrument options to area musicians, regardless of ability or discipline. Being a Penn State graduate (B.S. Music Education and M.M. Wind Conducting), the former Director of Bands for Hollidaysburg Area High School, and the current Director of the Hollidaysburg Community Band, I also have a keen sense of appreciation for the importance of a properly functioning instrument.I am extremely fortunate…combining my passion for the performing arts with the skillful use of tools, I am able to bring a much-needed service to our region and help other area musicians continue to perform. I thank God daily for my wife, Lori, and our four children, Jacob, Marian, Ruth & Simon, all of whom share in the continued success of BANDMAN. We are always happy to chat with our customers, so please feel free to call or stop in, and ask about repair work, buying an instrument or accessory, or participating in our rental program.
