First I would like to thank Doug and Bandman for the outstanding workmanship they applied to my sax. The story starts I bought a sax off e-bay for my son starting band. I received the sax and it was not as advertised. The key work was bent causing interference with other key work, the instrument looked like it spent it's best years inside a school music room with 100+ different students playing it. Thank god I only paid 160 USD for it. I started looking for reputable repair shops considering that I may be able to get it fixed at a reasonable price. That's where Bandman comes in. OK this caught my attention and I was impressed with what I saw so I give Doug a call and was given an estimate on repairs. After I sent the sax I was still hoping that it was repairable. Doug responded and the reply was it was repairable and the estimate held true. So after waiting a couple of weeks, an amazing turn-around time considering the time of year and disheveled sax, I get it back and was in absolute awe. Not only did they fix the sax but went into such great detail to fix the small things with no extra charge. Those details that were talked about in the estimate that really weren't huge but make a difference to the customer. By my experience I would say that everyone at Bandman doesn't do these repairs for a 9 to 5 but they actually love what they do. I will guarantee that if I ever need another instrument repaired I will, from anywhere on the planet, send my business to Bandman. A rare sight to see such exceptional craftsmanship in this day and age and it makes me happy to know that some people still care. A-1 service from an A-1 company. Thank You.
